The city of San Rafael is more or less equidistant from San Francisco and Oakland airports.
From San Francisco Airport, the Marin Airporter offers comfortable and inexpensive rides to San Rafael (Andersen Dr Stop) https://marinairporter.com/
From Oakland Airport, Groome Transportation shuttles stop in the Downtown San Rafael Transit Center. https://groometransportation.com/
Of course, Uber/Lyft will be available from either airport.
Getting Around Locally + Parking at the Venue
Uber or Lyft are your best option (unless renting a car) to go between the Venue and your Hotel/AirBnB. If you are renting a car, our Venue features a huge private parking lot!
Car Rental (For Tourism and Outdoors)
Marin county and the greater North Bay offer a wealth of outdoor activities and attractions that are a must for visitors. Consider renting a car to drive around and discover this scenic part of the SF Bay Area. Of the many options available to you, most coveted are Golden Gate Bridge sightseeing, Marin Headlands hiking, Wine Tasting in Sonoma and Napa, Muir Woods, Stinson Beach, China Camp State Beach, Point Reyes, Russian River, Bodega Bay. There are several cute towns with much character such as Sausalito, Corte Madera, Mill Valley, Larkspur and downtown San Rafael that offer delicious cuisine and are a pleasure to walk.
